This is the Whiteman Motors Brightdrop Passenger Seat Base upgrade that replaces the stock jumpseat. The seat base is designed to incorporate a rotating assembly, but a seat can be mounted on it just fine without a rotating assembly.
This solves the problem of the incredibly uncomfortable passenger jump seat. The mounting tabs create a 18” deep by a 17.75” wide platform to easily mount many universal seats to. The seats I personally used are the middle row seats from a mid-2000’s Mazda 3, but you’re welcome to use any seat you want.
The front lower tray makes for a perfect footrest, but its recommended to throw a mat over the tray to avoid wear.
Will come unpainted in flat aluminum. End user will have to drill their own mounting holes specific to their specified seat.
For some reason Squarespace estimates that the shipping costs are significant higher than they actually are. If the shipping costs and Squarespace fees come in significantly less than Squarespace charges, I will refund the extra shipping and fee costs.
This unique adapter attaches to the lower HVAC ductwork under the dash in either 400 or 600 version of the Brightdrop Van and allows users to redirect either warm or cold air to the back of the van as desired. Left side is a block-off plate that redirects all air to the right side. Buyer will need to also purchase 4” dryer vent that can be purchased from any major hardware store, system will not work without dryer vent expandable ductwork.
Take caution in attaching adapter to vent, attach left side of adapter first, and carefully rotate adapter to fully encompass output of full vent as seen in attached video.
Unfortunately squarespace has overestimated shipping costs. I will partially refund the shipping costs once I pay for final shipping, and squarespace has taken their cut.
Package will contain both the adapter and block-off plate.
This the Brightdrop Van Roof Support, one purchase is for ONE support with the threaded extension. The system includes Two (2) basic side brackets without additional wall mounting bolt holes, and will include one 1×1 aluminum tube that has been arched to match the contour of the roof with foam to prevent vibration. It will be owners responsibility to supply their own riv-nuts and mounting system for their vans.
Same kit as our basic roof support system, except this one comes with a 6” extension with 1/4”-20 nuts inserted into the back to attach other items to the brackets.
This support system provides additional support to the weak brightdrop roof. This will help support the roof for additional components such as roof top AC units or fans.
